Mr. Smith passed away March 8th, 2018. He was born October 8th, 1957 in Tyler, Texas to Ray Smith and Glenda Miller.

Joe Dick owned a marine construction business and has constructed boat houses and piers on many lakes both near and far. Joe could most certainly build anything, even if he didnt know how, he would tell you he did and he would figure it out along the way. He loved taking his sons hunting and fishing and helping/watching his children and grandchildren grow. One of the most treasured memories was always cooking for everyone with his wife. He was one hell of a friend to so many and loved just as much. There aren't a lot of people that dont have at least one Joe Dick story. He was surely one of those stars that out shown everyone else and there was just something special about this man. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed dearly.

Joe Dick was preceded in death by his Father Ray Smith and brother Gordon Smith. Also his grandmother Minnie Nesser, grandfather Wilburn Atwood, and grandparents Floyd & Lura Smith.

He is survived by his loving family including Wife Ginger Smith and children. Jacy Cheavens and husband Caleb, Coleman Smith and wife Victoria, Conner Smith, Trevor Gray and wife Erin, & Collin Gray. Two grandchildren Roxy Gray and Shepard Cheavens and one on the way. Mother Glenda Atwood Miller, Brother Steve Smith and wife Debbie both of Lindale, TX and sister Ruth Harding and husband Tim, Both of Bryan.
