Obituary

Memorial services for Henry Lloyd Ellison, 86, Chandler, were held Saturday, May 11 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church, Tyler.

Mr. Ellison passed away on May 7, 2019 in Tyler.

Henry was born January 12, 1933 in Smith Co., TX to the late Benjamin Duncan Ellison and Edna Mae Gregory Ellison. He served in the US Navy and worked for Dallas Police Department and Smith County Sheriffs Department. He had lived in Chandler for 23 years. Henry was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Marable.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sue Maxfield Ellison of Chandler; two children, Jan Ellison Marable and her husband, Mitch and Joi Ellison Wiley and her husband, Robert; brother, Edward Ellison; three grandchildren, Keri Wiley Lee, Rani Wiley Dick and Amanda Marable Frowick; five great-grandchildren, Gavin Sexton, Kyli Marable, Madalyn Lee, Ethan Marable and Ainslee Dick.
