Obituary

Gordon Murray Meadville, 86, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2019. He was born February 18, 1933.

He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1972, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He then went on to drive a truck for Southland Distribution Center for 15 years. He loved to take trips and would often take the love of his life, Lillie Meadville, to different places, with Branson, Mo. being one of their favorites.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lillie Meadville, son Ricky Meadville and Son-in-law, Rudd E. Still.

He leaves behind daughter Tina Still of Big Sandy, son and daughter-in-law Rusty and Sidna Meadville of Big Sandy, daughter and son-in-law Toni and Tony Quezada of Tyler. Along with his children he had seven grandchildren, Rudd G. Still, Holly Lake Ranch, Andrew Meadville and his wife Constance of Midland, Darci Meadville of Phuket, Thailand, Riley Meadville of Tyler, Amanda and Alison Parsons of Petaluma, Ca., and Seth Quezada if Tyler. In addition, he had one great granddaughter, Haidyn Gordon of Petaluma, Ca.

It was his wish that the Final Salute at the Watkins-Logan Veterans Home be his send off, so no further arrangements are going to be held.
