Funeral services for Glenda Ruth Praytor, age 74, of Lindale, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with Pastor James Daniels and Pastor Ben Steen officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery with services under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. Mrs. Praytor died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her residence in Lindale. She was born in Tyler, Texas on October 15, 1943 to the late Collie C. and Melba (Henderson) Wyatt and was a lifelong resident of Smith County, Texas, moving to Lindale in 1963. Mrs. Praytor had worked as a legal secretary and as an over the road truck driver, working for CFI Trucking. She was a seamstress and enjoyed needlepointing. Mrs. Praytor was a member of Christ Central Church of God in Lindale and was preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Wyatt and Jimmy Wyatt. Mrs. Praytor is survived by her husband, Thomas Praytor of Lindale, Texas; daughters & sons-in-law, Mary & Robert Minsky of Lindale, Texas and Amanda & Scott Starkey of Lindale, Texas; son & daughter-in-law, Collie Frank & Marie Praytor of Lindale, Texas; brothers & sisters-in-law, Adolphus & Sandra Wyatt of Ft. Worth, Texas, Joe & Lilly Wyatt of Tyler, Texas, Barbara Wyatt of Tyler, Texas and Willene Wyatt of Tyler, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Minsky, Isaac Minsky, Jonathan Praytor, Joshua Praytor, Colleen Starkey and Alyssa Starkey, all of Lindale, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Gibson, Jerry Wyatt, Charles Praytor, Joseph Praytor, Jonathan Praytor and Joshua Praytor. Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Burroughs, Nathan Minsky, Isaac Minsky, Joe Wyatt and Adolphus Wyatt. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County or Heart to Heart Hospice.
