Services for Forrest Bettis "Chuck" Fitzgerald, 75, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Henderson with Pastor Steve Coker officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Minden, TX under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Fitzgerald passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Dallas. He was born September 22, 1942 in Kilgore to Forrest Bettis Fitzgerald Sr. and Evelyn Deason Tipps Fitzgerald.

Chuck was a member of the First Presbyterian Church Henderson. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1968 with Bachelor's Degrees in Business and Geology. He began his career in 1969 in Human Resources at General Electric in Tyler. In 1973, he joined the pharmaceutical field with Ethicon, Inc., the first of many positions with Johnson & Johnson. He retired from the IOLAB Corporation as Vice President of Human Resources for the Intraocular Pharmaceutical and Site Divisions in California, Puerto Rico and Pennsylvania. After retiring from Johnson & Johnson, he returned, once again, to the pharmaceutical field with DPT Laboratories in San Antonio, where he served as VP of Human Resources.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Evelyn Fitzgerald and siblings, Ann Box, Bo Fitzgerald and J.W. Fitzgerald. He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Mary Beth Fitzgerald; son, Brian and wife Amanda Fitzgerald; son, Patrick and wife Amy Fitzgerald; grandchildren; Jake, Owen, Landon, Quinn, Logan, Cole, Lillie and Caley Fitzgerald; sister, Sara Black and husband James; and brother, Mike Fitzgerald.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jake, Owen, Landon, Quinn, Logan and Cole Fitzgerald. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Alexander, Jim Cadenhead, Frank Markey, Hank Preston, Armando Sosa, Buck Thrasher, Ed Thurston and Raul Villareal.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to the service on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church, 311 S. High St., Henderson, TX 75654.
