A funeral service for Edmund "Ted" Warren, age 86, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 11 o'clock in the morning Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. Rev. C.D Walker and Rev. Bill Rambow will officiate. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Still Waters Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville.

He passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Tyler.

Ted was born March 7, 1932 in Corine, TX to Alton and Susie (Buckley) Warren.

Ted served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by United States Postal Service for 44 years. Ted was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville for over 50 years and a member of the Golden Jubilee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine Warren; and a brother, Cletius Warren.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Nancy Batton Warren of Jacksonville; brother, Floren Curtis Warren of Tyler; sister, Oralee Harcrow and husband Leonard of Whitehouse; sister-in-law, Sue Cannedy and husband Jack. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Caveness, Cecile Pond, Joe Daniels, Olen Phillips, Gene Fincher and Jack Williams.

Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 210 Phillip St., Jacksonville, Texas 75766.
