Obituary

Charles B. Oglesby passed away from this world on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Hospice of East Texas, with his family at his side.

Charles was born on April 21, 1943 in Lindale, Texas to Trixie and Bobby Oglesby. He married Anna L. Paul on June 8, 1962 in Mineola, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Oglesby; Son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Shelly Oglesby; Daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and David Bonner; Two grandsons, Austin Bonner and fiance Gena Hanks and Chase Bonner and girlfriend Rachel Rogers; One great granddaughter, Kensleigh Bonner; Two brothers and sister-in-laws, Harold and Norma Oglesby, and Danny and Mary Oglesby; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles moved his family to Tyler in 1969 and went to work at the Kelly- Springfield Tire Company where he remained employed until his retirement on December 31, 2007.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, competitive shooting sports and camping.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Oglesby, David Bonner, Austin Bonner, Chase Bonner, Harold Oglesby, and Gary Dumas.

In lieu of flowers you may make donations to Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
