A memorial service for Susan Wall, 67, of Lindale will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Garrett officiating.

Mrs. Wall passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in Tyler. She was born February 21, 1952 in Edinburg, Texas to Bobbie G. and John J. Beaty.

Susan graduated from Robert E. Lee High School of Tyler and from Tyler Commercial College with a degree in Accounting. She held the position of Insurance Collections with Fresenius Medical.

Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and John Beaty; her sister, Caral Ann Jacobson and father-in-law, Marvin Wall. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 47 years, Alan Wall of Lindale; son and daughter-in-law, Dayna and William Wall of Nacogdoches; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bailey Averitt of Tyler; grandchildren, Dalton, Cody, and Kami Averitt of Tyler, Dylan Wall and Noah Johnson of Nacogdoches, and Sarah Wall of Kilgore; brother-in-law, Steve Jacobson of Tyler; sister, Mary Morgan of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Vickers of Bullard; mother-in-law, Norma Wall of Tyler; sister-in-law, Karen Gibbs of Whitehouse; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karol and Steve Wolf of Flint as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Some of Susan's hobbies and interests included painting, reading, camping, playing cards and attending every school play, band concert, swim meet, and basketball game her grandkids invited her to.

Susan's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and Hospice of East Texas for the loving care they provided to her during her final days and to the family and friends who have provided meals, hugs, and encouraging words.
