Richard H. Czurak passed peacefully on May 14, 2019 surrounded by his family members at The Hospice of East Texas. He was born on December 20, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Henrietta and John Czurak. Richard attended The University of Michigan and graduated from Michigan State with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He applied his knowledge and creativity to develop numerous patents in the fertilizer industry. Richard aka Dick, was a decorated veteran in the Air Force during the Korean War. Dick worked for O.M. Scotts & Sons in Marysville, Ohio, Canadian Superior in Calgary, Alberta Canada, Eagle Picher Agri-Sul in Mineola, Texas and Martin Resource Management Corporation in Kilgore, Texas. He is a long-term member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Millie Czurak, of 64 years; children Cindy, Steve and Tracy, Jeff and Rhonda, Sandy and his faithful dog Czak

grandchildren; Bradley Jon, Brinley, Sterling, Starr, Justin and MacKenzie: great grandchildren Aerabella and Rylee.
