Funeral services for Cecil Bradshaw, age 66, of Lindale are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Sabine Cemetery.
Mr. Bradshaw was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Mount Pleasant, the son of the late Marvin Pete and Lucille (McDade) Bradshaw. He passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in a Tyler hospital. Mr. Bradshaw lived in Lindale most of his life and was a graduate of Lindale High School. He was a member of Carmel Baptist Church, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of T.R. Bonner Masonic Lodge and was currently quartermaster for the Lindale VFW. Mr. Bradshaw was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Shane Bradshaw.
Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his son, Jimmy Bradshaw and wife Tracie, of Lindale; daughter, Felisia France, of Hawkins; sister, Betty Bodiford, of Lindale; grandchildren, Hopelyn Bradshaw-Slaton, of Lindale, Shane Bradshaw, of Lindale, Hollie and Heather France, both of Hawkins, Cody France, of Flint; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shane Bradshaw, Cody France, Ashton Slaton, B.D. Work, Mitch Bodiford, Bruce Collier, Ronnie Keels, Robert Cooper and Jimmy Williams.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
