Memorial services for Gene Tate, 68, Chandler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Lake Community Baptist Church, Texas Highway 155 South, Flint, with Roy J. Linn and Jim Clarke officiating.
Mr. Tate died March 26, 2011, in Flint.
Arnold Gene Tate was born May 4, 1942, in Granbury to the late Arnold A. and Rena Rogers Tate. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in sales. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Ruth Tate, and two sisters.
Survivors include son, Eddy Tate, Red Oak; daughters, Julie Johnson, Irving, and Jackie Thompson, Allen; sisters, Rosemary Linn, Flint, twin sister, Janette Friend, Chandler, and Noreen Singleton, Fort Worth; and seven grandchildren.
