Margie Marie Creiglow was born April 22, 1924, in New Pittsburg, Ohio, to George Washing Beuhler and Minnie Marie Beougher Buehler, and died Sept. 20, 2010, at the age of 86 years at ETMC hospital, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Harold 'Pete" Creiglow, Chandler; son, Richard Allen Landon of Buda; daughters, Irene Landon Nelius Wilson of Henderson, and Laurie Creiglow Brown of Chandler; sister, Ellen Miller and brother, Dick Withem, both of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Donna Nelius Barrington, Dena Nelius Troell, James Charles Nelius, Christopher Landon, Michael Landon, Megan Landon, Marie Landon, Matthew Brown; four great-grandchildren, Cortney Mooney, Christina Turman, Justin Gibson, Kairi Landon; and two great-great-grandchildren, Brighton Mooney and Ryder Mooney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; five sisters; one granddaugher; and one great-granddaughter.
She was a retired waitress and school cafeteria cook/baker, but her main occupation was lovingly serving her Lord and family tirelessly and unselfishly. She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing and watching the hummingbirds from her porch. She was a born-again Christian since 1965 who loved deeply, without reservation, and shared her love with all who came in contact with her. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Bro. James Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Chandler Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
