Services for Glen W. Stovall Jr., 73, of Whitehouse, will be on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler.
The Guest Book is expired.
Burial with military honors will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Glen was born March 20, 1941, in Myrtle Springs to the Rev. Glen W. and Reba Stovall.
Glen was retired after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force and 18 years with Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. After retirement, Glen enjoyed spending his time gardening, supporting his favorite athletic teams, the Spurs, Cowboys and Indians, as well as traveling to cooler climates in the summer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Mary Adams Stovall; his daughter, Tamara Stovall, of Rowlett; his sister, Mary Ann Vaughn (Don), of Quitman; his sister, DeAnn Sellers, of Missouri; brothers-in-law, Jerry Adams (Cindy), of California, Eddie Adams (Dawn), of Lewisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Glen W. Stovall Jr., to Myrtle Springs Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1092, Canton, 75103.
