Services for William Marshall Dickerson, 85, Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Fred Harris, Master Sgt. Bobby Renson and Chad Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery.

Mr. Dickerson died Sunday, June 11, 2006, in Tyler. He was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Arp to the late William Thomas and Bertha Perry Dickerson. He had lived in Tyler all his life, was a self-employed concrete contractor, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Frances Dickerson of Tyler; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Robin Dickerson and Alton and Leah Dickerson, all of Whitehouse; daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Lucky Kruse of Waldo, Fla., Joyce and Rick Fairchild, Llawana and Darren Taylor, all of Tyler, and Lynn Larmon of Flint; sister, Melba Hammons of Lone Oak; grandchildren, Jackie, Wesley, Dalton and Austin Dickerson, Chad, Nell, and Damon Hudson, Shanna Stewart, and Blake Larmon; great-grandchildren, Justin Hudson, Brandon and Katelyn Burroughs, Madison Hudson, Payton and Dawson Stewart.
Pallbearers are Chad Hudson, Damon Hudson, Blake Larmon, Lucky Kruse, Rick Fairchild and Darren Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are James "Cotton" Anderson, Tillman Cole and men of Broadway Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Broadway Baptist Church, 1900 N. Broadway Ave., Tyler, 75702.
