Katina (Tina) Baggett, of Gallatin, was accepted into the arms of her savior at the age of 55, on April 6th 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Tina was born Katina Lynn Priestly to Barbara Leonard and James Priestly on January 10th 1963 in Jacksonville. Tina was joined in marriage with William (Richard) Baggett on June 2nd 1983 at Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church. She was blessed with two children, Jason and Jayanna, and three grandchildren, Brilee, Cullen, and Logan. She was also a part of the Gallatin Missionary Baptist Church Family. Tina was known for her love of her family, church, and community that she showed for many years. She was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and attended Tyler Junior College. She spent 32 years of her career with Prosperity Bank in Jacksonville and would later move to Rusk, in which she would serve as the Branch Manager. She also helped better the community of Rusk as an active member of the Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. She is preceded in death by her father, James M. Priestly, her grandmother, Winnie Bailey, and grandfather, William Bailey. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Leonard, of Jacksonville, husband, Richard Baggett, of Gallatin, son, Jason Baggett, his wife Nina and grandson Logan, of Flint, daughter, Jayanna Yates, her husband Steven, granddaughter Brilee and grandson Cullen, of Jacksonville, brother Keith Priestly, nephew Noah Priestly and niece Bethany Priestly of Frankston, brother Anthony Priestly, of Jacksonville, brother-in-law Bruce Baggett and sister-in-law Pam, of Huntsville, aunt Susan Graham and uncle Rodger of Jacksonville, father-in-law William (WR) Baggett and mother-in-law Pat, of Jacksonville. Along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers Zane Baggett, Brys Baggett, Forbes Baggett, Byrne Baggett, Trey Parker and David Joseph.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel Jacksonville with Bro. Robin Parsons officiating. Visitation will be Sunday April 8, 2018 with the family receiving friends from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
