A funeral service for Robert Williams, age 69, of Jacksonville, is scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning Friday, July 14, 2017 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. Rev. Eddie Seacrest, Robert's son, C.B. and Charles Dickerson will officiate. Robert will be laid to rest at Union Grove Cemetery near Jacksonville.

Mr. Williams passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 in Jacksonville.

Robert was born February 10, 1948 in Jacksonville. He was a member of Afton Grove Baptist Church. He enlisted and served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and was a bronze star recipient. Robert retired from American Tower Co. He was a project manager for the company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Jewel Tillman Williams and a sister, Marva Nifier.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years Judy, their children, C. B. Williams and wife Kristen of Frisco and Martie Littlejohn and husband Larry of Beaumont. Robert is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Irby, Mary Jo Smith and husband Dick and a brother, Forrest Williams and wife Nancy all of Jacksonville. There are four grandchildren, Steven McClellan and wife Jennifer, Samantha McClellan, Reagan Williams and Hudson Williams. He has three great-grandchildren, Ruger, Marli, and Ryder and several nieces and nephews.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rodney Williams, Nicholas Williams, Anthony Williams, Bryan Williams, James Wells and Dr. Bradley Westbrook.

Honorary pallbearers are Greg Irby, Kenneth Ross, Charles Dickerson, Kent Westbrook, and Craig Barber.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 13, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Robert's family from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Rather than customary condolences, memorials in memory of Robert may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice 7925 S. Broadway Ave. Suite 1140, Tyler, Texas 75703.
