Robert Paul Isbell 70 of Tyler passed away peacefully at The Hospice of East Texas surrounded by his family and loved ones on May 27, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held on June 17, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Whitehouse, 801 E. Main St. Whitehouse 75791 at 10 a.m. Service to led by Kevin Burdette and eulogy by Scott Moyer.

Robert was born April 5, 1947, in Odessa and passed away May 27, 2017. Upon graduation from McKinney High School in 1965, he enlisted in United States Navy from July 12, 1965, through July 7, 1969, during the Vietnam War.

Robert is survived by his sons, Bryan Isbell and his wife Twiggy of Brownsboro and Brad Isbell of Tyler, granddaughter, Jessica Isbell of Brownsboro, sister, Beth Massey and husband Mark of Whitehouse, nieces, Amanda Moyer and husband Scott of Houston, April Massey and Lara Massey, both of Plano, great-niece, Kylie Moyer and great-nephew, Tye Moyer of Houston.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Isbell, Sept. 26, 1992, and father, Paul G. Isbell Sept. 19, 2007.
