Services for Raymond Earl Pierce, of Tyler are scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2018 11:00 AM at New Days Community Church with Dr. Donald Smith, Jr. officiating and Rev. Reginald Garrett eulogist. Interment will be held in Rockhill Restland Park Cemetery, Cuney, TX under the direction of Brooks Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors.

Raymond Earl Pierce was born September 11, 1947 in Bullard, TX to Bernice Pierce and Arvenell Pierce. He was a member at Rockhill Baptist Church, he later joined New Days Community Church, Tyler where he served on the Usher Board.

Raymond was a graduate of Fred Douglas High School and attended Jarvis Christian College. He served in the United State Army and Army Reserves. He was employed at Ingersoll Rand (Trane Co.) and retired after 37 years.

He was joined in marriage to the late Frances L. Pierce. To this union 2 children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas Pierce.

He leaves as survivors two daughters Stephanie Johnson and Benika Pierce. Sisters Virginia Harvest and Marilyn McClelland; brothers Andy Pierce, Randy Pierce and Jerry Pierce. 8 grandchildren and 1 great grand. A host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Public viewing at the funeral home Friday, 12 Noon-8:00 PM.
