Ms. Patricia "Trish" McIlroy Garvin, 73, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2017.

She was born on June 22, 1944, in Tyler, TX, to the late Charles Ray McIlroy and Dorothy Virginia Meadows. After graduating as a nurse from Mother Francis Nursing School, she enjoyed providing "above-and-beyond" care to her patients that touched and changed their lives. Over her lifetime, she had a variety of interests, including, horses, dogs, hunting, fishing, building homes, owning restaurants, traveling and fashionable clothing. She was stylish in both jeans and elegant dresses. She was a remarkable, free-spirited woman who was loved by family, many friends and patients.

Survivors include her three children, DeWayne Gonzales and wife, Michelle of Fort Collins, CO, Todd Gonzales of Grants, NM and Zannie Garvin of Austin, TX; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Gonzales and Adelin Gonzales; two sisters, Sandy Roberts of Tyler, TX, and Cindy Stovenour and husband, Michael of McKinney, TX; and loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are tentatively scheduled for June 9, 2018. Time and location in Tyler will be announced later.
