A funeral service for Nancy Lee Golemon, age 82, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 o'clock in the morning Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Mike Miller, Rev. Vernon Lee and Bryan York officiating. She will be laid to rest at Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Golemon passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Jacksonville surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born July 16, 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska to L. C. and Mary (Rush) Way.

She moved to Jacksonville in 1948 and graduated from Jacksonville High School. On January 2, 1953, she married L.B. Golemon, Jr. Nancy loved to sing and sang most of her life. Her hobbies included music, RVing, and golfing. She co-owned Ranch Hand Western Wear in Jacksonville and was member of Central Baptist Church, Jacksonville. Nancy received recognition in the Texas Dough Boy Talent of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 64 years, L. B. Golemon, Jr. of Jacksonville; son, Gordon Douglas Golemon and wife Glenda Faye of Jacksonville; daughters, Patti Sue Tucker and husband David of Longview, Diana Lynn York and husband Bryan of Jacksonville. She is survived by brothers-in-law, L.T. Golemon and Bill Burns; grandchildren, L.B. III (Brad), Shanna, Tim, Crystal, Heather and Heath; four great-grandchildren; one niece, several nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be L.B. (Brad) Golemon III, Tim Tucker, Heath York, Clint "C.B" Golemon Jr., Jerry Golemon, Ric Golemon, Dave Golemon and Curt Golemon.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Nancy's family from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
