May Gene Watts, 92 of Mineola, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 7, 2018. The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Lloyd James Funeral Home. A private Graveside service will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery.

She was born on May 30, 1926 in Hopkins County to the late Walter Pennington and Lorene (Martin) Pennington.

Mrs. Watts was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was having all her family together to enjoy her delicious holiday feasts. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Johnie Melvin Watts and son-in-law Gary Stephen Fahrner.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her son Johnie Michael (Dorothy) Watts; daughter Lynda Watts Fahrner; grandchildren Jason (Laura) Watts, Jamie Watts, Kristin Fahrner, Kinsey (Patrick) Bloomer, Kori (Ian Greenwalt) Fahrner; great grandchildren Campbell and Carson Watts, Avery Greenwalt and baby girl Bloomer due February 2019.

The family appreciates the care and concern of Wood Memorial Nursing Home and Heritage Hospice.
