Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2017, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Manson passed away suddenly on November 1, 2017, after a recent illness.

Mary Louise Williams Manson was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Mary Eshnaur and Curtis Williams, Sr. on July 13, 1945. She moved to Tyler as a young girl and lived there the remainder of her life. She attended college at Texas State University in San Marcos. She returned to Tyler after graduating and taught at Tyler ISD, worked at Aetna, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and most recently at East Texas Medical Center where she worked until her recent illness.

Affectionately known as "Mrs. Mary" to many, her favorite past time was equestrian riding (horsing around for us regular folk) and caring for the children at Christ Episcopal Church nursery.

Mary is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Heath and James Manson, four grandchildren, Chase, Landen, Jaxson and Kori Manson, two brothers, Chris and Curtis Williams, and one sister, Ann Casstevens. She was an integral member of the nursery program at Christ Episcopal Church of Tyler.

Mrs. Manson is preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Manson, Jr.

Plants and Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or in lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Children's Ministry of Christ Episcopal Church of Tyler, 118 South Bois d'Arc, Tyler, TX 75702.
