Obituary

Funeral services for Marisu Rakestraw Cagle, 57, of Tyler, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Davey Smith officiating.
Mrs. Cagle was born Nov. 30, 1955 in Smith County to the late James and Mary Rakestraw and passed away June 13, 2013, in Tyler. She lived in Tyler all of her life and was a secretary for Cagle Asphalt and PBX supervisor at UTHSCT. Marisu was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church.
Marisu was an avid twirling instructor for anyone who wanted to learn. All her nieces and nephews knew that Aunt Sue would always be there for them and do anything for them. She loved her little pony (a Weimaraner) "Buck, Buck," and "Jack" (a Jack Russell terrier).
Besides her parents, Marisu was preceded in death by her grandparents, Josie and B.B. Rakestraw, and Mac and Lottie Pickett.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tommy Cagle; sons, Chris, Kyle and Kevin Cagle; a daughter, Karisu Cagle; a brother, James Burl Rakestraw; sisters, Pam Rakestaw and Tammi Coffey-Mahone; and six grandchildren. Katie, Kayla, Kylie, Kobey, Quentin and Colt.
Pallbearers will be Danny "Hobo" Hobelman, Allen Mahone, Cory Coffey, Michael Aaron Swindle, Sean Anderson, Derrick "Big D" Lewis and Bo Frizzell. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad McGill, Lonnie Vega and Josh Bolton.
