Services for Lois Franklin, 91 of Tyler, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in the chapel of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Bowman officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cathedral in the Pines. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Mildred Lois Franklin passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Tyler. She was born August 9, 1927 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late William Herman Neill and Birdie Mae Pearson Neill. She retired as a salesperson with Montgomery Wards in Tyler and was member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded by her husband, Isaac Chadwell Franklin; and by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Eddie Longacre of Whitehouse and Becky and Duane Scritchfield of Tyler; a brother, Bill Neill of Tennessee; two sisters, Lorene Taylor of Alabama and Jessie Hall of Mississippi; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
