Services for J.S.R. "Bob" Allaire, 82, Corpus Christi, formerly of Tyler, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Bill Palmer officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mr. Allaire passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, in Corpus Christi.

Mr. Allaire was born on Oct. 3, 1925, in Cisco to the late Joseph Simon and Mary Margaret Dodge Allaire. He retired after 37 years with Exxon as an operating superintendent and following that worked for Delta Drilling. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. He has lived in Corpus Christi for the past five years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fay Juanita Allaire in 2000, one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Allaire of Corpus Christi; sons, Mike Allaire of Waller, Butch Allaire of Fort Stockton, and Pat Allaire of Big Sandy; daughter, Theresa Ann Walker of White Oak; sisters, Mary Barber of Hawkins, and Myrtle A. Cates of Waco; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers are family members.

The rosary will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
