Funeral service for Fredrick Dwayne Crawford, 50, Elgin formerly of Tyler will be 10am, Monday at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Tyrone Gee, eulogist. Burial will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co. Mr. Crawford transitioned May 28, 2018 in LaGrange, Texas.

He was born March 9, 1968 in Smith County. He was a graduate of both John Tyler High School and Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. Fredrick was a 15 year resident of Travis County, member of Swan Church of Christ and was active in the United States Army Reserves.

Preceding him in death include: father, Chester Dixon; sister, Shahara Dixon; grandmother, Louise Crawford; grandfathers, Willie Crawford and Albert Dixon.

Left to cherish his memory are: fiance, Maria Weatherspoon, Elgin, ; daughters, Brittany McGee, Houston, and Laila Crawford, Elgin; four brothers, Dexter Crawford (Dee), Tyler, Eric Crawford, Chandler, Rev. Tyrone Gee (Deanna), Tyler, and Daroyce Gee (Amanda), Dallas; along with three grandchildren.
