Ernestine Gower Craft, 83, died peacefully and was reunited with her husband on September 29, 2017. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Ernestine was born November 7, 1933 in Austin, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzette Lang, of Cedar Hill, Texas and son, Brian (Cherisse) Craft, of Tyler; four grandchildren, Melody Lang, Megan (Jamie) Turner, Holley Craft and Ethan Craft; three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Joey, and Callie. Also surviving is her twin brother, Ernest (Barbara) Gower, and nieces Gayle Dillman, Cindy Kelly, Debbie Richardson, Donna Wright, Shannon Stevenson and Robin Gower; and nephews Robert Earl White and Billy Lagston. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, James Craft. Ernestine loved to be with family and friends.

She and Jim spent many summers vacationing at the YMCA of the Rockies in Colorado. She attended Shiloh Road Church of Christ where she was involved and cherished her time with the Prime Timers group. In the last few years, she enjoyed spending time with the many friends she made at Atria Willow Park, especially while playing Bingo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arms of Hope Boles Children's Home at 21300 State Highway 16 North, Medina, Texas 78055.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Stewart Family Funeral Home with Ron Shultz officiating. She will be laid to rest in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
