Elizabeth Sale passed away at Autumn Oaks in Corinth on July 4, 2014. She was born on July 30, 1917, to Fred and Ruby Crisp in Emerson, Ark. She married C.A. "Dick" Sale on June 11, 1934.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Ila Verne Franks.
Elizabeth was a resident of Tyler for more 50 years before moving to Corinth in 2005 to be close to her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Fred and wife Sandy, Panama City, Fla., and Richard and wife Kathi, Denton; grandchildren, David, Tallahassee, Fla., Marcus and wife Tari, Panama City, Fla., Chris and wife Aimee, Denton, Angela Grubke and husband Ted, Denton, and Jeremy and wife Sarah, Denton; five great-grandchildren, Lauren, Natalie, Ethan, Jaden and Austin, all of Denton; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler. Visitation will precede the service at 1 p.m. The service will be at 2 p.m. Arrangements will be handled by Mulkey-Mason Funeral home of Denton.
The family wishes to thank Autumn Oaks of Corinth, her home for the past seven years, for their loving care and support. Also, the family is grateful to Odyssey Hospice for their kind care for the past few months.
