Memorial services for David N. Willis, age 75, of Hideaway are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas with Rev. Tim Roberts officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home. David died Friday, November 2, 2018 in a Tyler healthcare center. He was born in Eagleville, Missouri on March 27, 1943 to the late Raymond Lee and Carol Marie (Lesan) Willis and was formerly of Lenexa, Kansas before moving to Hideaway in 2004. David had worked for PBI Gordon Industries in Kansas City, Kansas as the data processing manager. He was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas, where he was involved in the Celebration Class, and was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Jeffrey Willis in 1992 and brother, Randy Willis. David is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Norma Willis of Hideaway, Texas; son, Michael Scott Willis and wife, Kay of Atchison, Kansas; step-son, Richard Geiger and wife, Elizabeth of Eugene, Oregon; brothers, Nathan Leroy Willis and wife, Priscilla of North Carolina, Kenny Wayne Mildward and wife, Kathy of Emporia, Kansas and Russell Lee Mildward of New Strawn, Kansas; grandchildren, Michaela Lee Willis, Walter C. Geiger and Owen Geiger; great grandchildren, Issac and Elijah; and by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 prior to the memorial service.
