Funeral service for Darring Wayne Martin, 56, Tyler will be 1pm, Friday at Jerry's Temple COGIC with Rev. Ross Worley, eulogist. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co. Mr. Martin transitioned October 5, 2017 in Tyler.

He was born September 25, 1961 in Flint, TX, was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High and Tyler Junior College. Darring was a lifelong resident of Smith County and was employed with Teknor Apex over 15 years. He served as a Deacon.

Preceding him in death were parents, one brother, Jewel Martin and two sisters, Mamie Lincoln and Julia Hamilton.

Left to cherish his memories include: two brothers, Edward Martin and Marvin Martin both of Dallas, TX; God-brother, Rev. Ross Worley (Ann), New Diana, TX; three sisters, Victoria Martin, Dallas, TX, Costella Haynes (Sam), Tyler, TX, and Polly Martin, Dallas, TX; a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; visitation will be Thursday, 7-8pm at John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
