Funeral Services for Carroll Eugene Stoker, 87, of Arp are scheduled for 2 P.M., Monday, June 12, 2017 in the chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with Reverend C.W. Goforth and Reverend Kenneth Antlay officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery in Chapel Hill.

He went to be with his Lord and Savior, June 8, 2017.

Gene was born on November 19, 1929 in Dallas to the late Lewis Alanzo Stoker and Geneva Sale Stoker. He worked in shipping and receiving at LaGloria Oil and Gas for 32 and half years. He served on Williams Cemetery Boards for numerous years. Gene was also a member of the Tyler-Azalea Gardens Church of God. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a great-great grandfather and a friend to everyone he met. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Elsie V. Stoker of Arp; daughter Brenda and her husband Steve Harlan of Crosby; son Johnny E. Stoker of Chapel Hill; grandchildren Shannon Nichols and her husband Wendell; Mike Criswell; and Michele Stoker; great grandchildren Ashley Crawford and her husband Brandon; Michael Fox and his wife Ashley; Symon, Grace, and Judah Criswell; great-great grandchildren Carter, Levi and Fletcher Crawford; step-children Glenn Johnson; Kenneth Johnson; Darlene Hendricks and Michael Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Della Stoker; granddaughter Staci Criswell; three brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Johnson, Michael Johnson, Mike Criswell, Symon Criswell, Kenny Johnson, Chuck Whitehead, Michael Fox and Aaron Fox

The family will receive friends for Visitation from 4 P.M.-6 P.M. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Lloyd James Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Tyler 7925 S Broadway Ave #1140, Tyler, TX 75703
