She married the love of her life Donald "Roby" Roberson in 1955 and they moved many places making friends everywhere they lived while he was an engineer with Dresser Industries for 14 years. She had an unending desire to have a deep relationship with Christ and faithfully studied His Word through church bible studies and Bible Study Fellowship. She courageously and graciously battled rheumatoid arthritis and related complications for over 40 years.

Each member of her family knew they were being prayed for daily. Carolyn was known for faithfully sending cards with words of encouragement to family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, and her grandson, Kyle Andrew Roberson.
