Carol Joyce Carson, 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on February 12, 2017 at her home in McKinney. Carol was born on October 1, 1931 in Tucker, Texas to Guy W. Keeling Sr. and Lucile (DuPuy) Keeling. She was married to Lt. Col. Robert E. Pierce and he preceded her in death. She later married Prescott Carson in 1976 in Dallas, Texas. Carol was a member of the University Christian Church in Tyler, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Prescott Carson of McKinney, TX; daughter, Vickie Williamson of McKinney, TX; adopted son, Bunchar Panich and wife Pui of Alexandria, Virginia; stepdaughters, Mary Coe of Austin, TX, Barbara Prantner and husband Bob of Lafayette, CO and Deborah DeVine and husband Tom of Denver, CO; stepson, Col. Scott Carson and wife Linda of Laurel, MS; grandchildren, Brandon Smith and wife Debbie, Matt Smith and fiance, Dez Melendez, Ryan Coe, Laura Coe, Tammy Sill, Bradley Sill, Angela DeVine, Thomas Lee DeVine, Annie Larkin, Melissa Carson and David Prescott Carson; great grandchildren, Zac and Avery Smith and numerous other great grandchildren and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lt. Col. Robert E. Pierce; daughter, Lee Ann Pierce; son, Robert E. Pierce; grandson Lee Michael Smith and son-in-law Robert E.
