Bonnie Dell Freeman, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 8, 2018. Mrs. Freeman was born April 21, 1928, to Needom A. and Johnnie Mae Beam Beddingfield. She was the youngest of six children. She graduated from Tyler High School, and lived most of her life in Tyler.

Our mother (Mommy, as we called her) was married to our daddy, Clyde Freeman, for 74 years. They owned and managed Clyde Freeman Plumbing Company for 30 years. She was a stay-at-home mother, where she loved to cook yummy deserts, sew, needlepoint and garden.

She most enjoyed spending her days with our daddy, our large extended family and friends, and enjoying her two grandchildren, the greatest joys of her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Joe Ford and Patti and Chris Bowman. Both live in Tyler. She was Blessed with two grandchildren, Jennifer VanCleef, St. Thomas V.I., and Patrick Bowman, Tyler, who preceded his grandparents in death in 2012, which was the greatest heartbreak of our family's lives. She is also survived by one sister, Billie Gilley of Tyler, and brother-in-law, Lester Freeman of Arlington and 14 nieces and nephews.

Our mother spent the last two years of her life living in Azalea Trails Assisted Living, where she was surrounded and cared for by us, and a wonderful family of caregivers. We are so thankful for them, and Heart to Heart Hospice.

Our family is at peace knowing the our "Bonnie and Clyde" are back together again.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 11th at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family request Memorials be made to the Patrick Bowman Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship Fund, C/O East Texas Area Council Boy Scouts, 1331 E. 5th Street, Tyler, Texas 75701. To view online, please go to www.burkswalkertippit.com.
