Services for Bart Crowley, 54, of Kilgore will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Gordan Blackman officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Bart passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, September 2, 2017.

He was born May 12, 1963 in Tyler, Texas to Weldon and Sara Barton Crowley. Bart attended Winona Public Schools and the San Marcos Academy. Bart was a gifted landscape architect who owned and operated BWC Landscaping Company for many years. He had an impeccable eye for elegance and was an accomplished interior decorator as well. Bart was a talented cook and he loved doing for others.

He lived life well, enjoyed traveling and took pride hosting his family and friends. Bart had a philanthropic heart, often giving of his time and talents to civic and charitable events. He was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kilgore.

Bart is survived by his husband, Brett Waterman of Tucson, Arizona; his father, Weldon Crowley of Kilgore, Texas; his sister, Dora Elizabeth Price and her husband, Johnny of Liberty City; two nieces, Brooke Peery and her husband, Joey of Liberty City, Taylor Case of Liberty City; a great niece, Gracie Peery; a great nephew, Reed Peery; his brother, Fred Crowley of Kilgore; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Tuesday evening between 6:00- 8:00 pm.

Bart was preceded in death by his mother, Sara Barton Crowley; his grandparents, Virgil and Iris Barton, Gladys and F. S. Crowley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Longview.
