Obituary

Funeral services for William "Bill" Fisher, 70, of Tyler will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. John Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County.
He was born on Aug. 30, 1943, in Gladewater to Loral Lee and Bessie Mackey Fisher and passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in Tyler. Mr. Fisher served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from ACU and Houston School of Law and was in private practice; Mr. Fisher also served as a lobbyist and CPA . He loved to play his guitar in his leisure time.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Jane Fisher, of Tyler; son, Chris Franklin, of Quincy, Mass.; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacie and Brian Cargill, of Richardson, Sheri and Tim Seckel, of Fort Worth; brother, Ray Fisher, of Austin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and previous wife of 33 years, Gloria Fisher.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014, from noon to service time at the funeral home.
