Roy Kenneth Griffith, 80, of Tyler passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, in Tyler.
Roy, a retired mold and bladder at Kelly-Springfield, was born on Nov. 15, 1933, in Snyder. He received an associate degree in agriculture and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mabel Griffith; brother, Gene Griffith; and son, Royce Griffith.
He is survived by his wife, Ozella Griffith, of Tyler; daughter, Glenda and husband Bob Voit, of Tyler; son, Brian and wife Kim Griffith, of Flint; sister, Wanda and husband Phil Rhods, of Argyle; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 Texas Highway 64 West, Tyler.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
