Funeral services for Lynda Caroyn Teel Frazier, 73, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mr. H.C. Pennel and Mr. Alvis Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 29, 2013, in Wills Point.
Lynda was born Oct. 16, 1940, in Wills Point, the daughter of Travis "Gob" Teel and Ruby McLemore Teel. She was raised in Wills Point and in 1958 she graduated from Wills Point High School. On Sept. 23, 1971, she married the love of her life, John Richard Frazier in Dallas. Lynda was previously employed as an adjuster for Home Insurance Company and Great American Insurance Company, both in Dallas. She lived in Garland prior to moving to Wills Point in 1990. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf and bridge. Lynda was very active in civic affairs. She was chosen Rotary Above Self in 2000 and 2007, Citizen of the Year in 2001, Sweetheart for the Pilot Club in 2002 and Grand Marshall for the Christmas Parade in 2010. She was very active in the Pilot Club, having served as president three different times. Lynda was a faithful member of the Wills Point Church of Christ, where she helped teach pre-K and kindergarten for over 10 years. Her church friends called her the Energized Rabbit and she loved it. Lynda fought a long, hard battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-brother, Raymond Teel in 1944.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Frazier, of Wills Point; son, Steven R. Frazier, of Dallas; daughter, Catherine J. Ostmeyer and husband Lawrence H., of Royse City; two brothers, Ted Teel and wife Norma, of Dallas, Jerry Teel and wife Debbie, of Mesquite; two sisters, Imogene Miller and husband Chaney, of Mesquite, Ruby Jo Eppler and husband Roger, of Tom Bean; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Petree, of Denver, Colo., Beverly Faubion, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one grandson, Brandon Ostmeyer and wife Tasha, of Rowlett; three stepgrandchildren, Steve, Rance and Kelli Ostmeyer; five stepgreat-grandchildren, Chad, Todd, Kate and Emily Ostmeyer and Jaeden Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Steve Frazier, Brandon Ostmeyer, Larry Ostmeyer, Chaney Miller, Roger Eppler and Les Stroud.
