Lee A. Moore


Services for Lee A. Moore, 64, Moore Station, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Lone Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard McCowan officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.
Mr. Moore died March 21, 2014, at East Texas Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 20, 1949, in Moore Station. He was a graduate of LaPoynor High School, a member of Lone Star Baptist Church and had served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He re-enlisted for two additional tours in Germany and Holland. He served four years in the Army Reserve. His highest rank was sergeant. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and the Campaign and Cross of Gallantry with Palm.
Survivors include his daughter, Dr. Evangela Anderson-Adams, granddaughter, Mia Adams, both of Whitehouse; brothers, Charles Moore Sr., of Timpson, and Willie Moore, of Houston; sister, Ruby Cofer, of Moore Station.
