Services for Hazel Louisa Bryan, 84, Tyler, formerly of LaRue, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in LaPoynor Church of Christ with Steve Handley officiating.
Private burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bryan passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, in Tyler.
She was born March 30, 1929, in San Angelo to the late Robert and Margaret McLeod Robinson. Mrs. Bryan resided in Dickinson 33 years then moved to LaRue and was an active member of LaPoynor Church of Christ. She had lived in Tyler the past five years and attended Rice Road Church of Christ. She formerly worked for NASA and Lockheed 25 years, retiring as office manager.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin L. Bryan, July 28, 2007.
Survivors include son, Michael Lewis Bryan and wife Patricia, Houston; daughters, Debra K. Schlackman, Richardson, Beth Dwiggins and husband Steve, Fort Smith, Ark., Cathy Odom and husband Allan, Baytown; sister, Margaret Pinto, Austin; grandchildren, Greg, Rachael and Bryan Schlackman, Chris Dwiggins; and numerous nephews and nieces.
