David Rankin Hogan, 79, Chandler, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, in Tyler. A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at The Lord's Refuge Full Gospel Church, south of Chandler, with Pastor Ray Alden officiating. Arrangements are with Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
David was born May 21, 1943, in Junction City, Kan. He had lived in the Chandler area since 2004 and was formerly of Hawkins. He was a captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and graduated from Texas A&M University with BS degree in electrical engineering. He was a Baptist and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and was retired from REMA Real Estate Management.
Mr. Hogan is survived by his wife, Regina Hogan, of Chandler; daughters, Deborah Bumpass, of Lewisville, Nancy Denise Graves and husband Stetson Roane, of Aransas Pass, Donna Crutsinger, of Edmond, Okla., Mary Joe McNeal and husband Jonathan, of Woodville, Winnie Wright and husband Danny, of Buna, Allona Hogan, of Woodville; brother, Thad Hogan and wife Patty, of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
