Ronald E. "Ronnie" Williams

Memorial services for Ronald E. Williams, known as "Ronnie" or "Ron," are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Broken W Ranch in Overton, with Jerry Bockmon officiating.
He passed away June 4, 2013, at a Tyler hospital after a brief illness.
He was born June 15, 1955, in Tyler.
Ronnie lived in Winona until joining the Marine Corps in 1972. He then moved to the Kilgore and Overton area. He was a mechanic at his own shop, Trip's Auto Repair in Arp. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an equestrian who loved passing his knowledge onto the younger genaration.
He is survived by wife, Merlyn; children Ron and Jackie, of Houston, Craig and Amber, of Lindale; and grandchildren, Addison and Brylee, of Lindale, and a future grandchild; mother and stepfather, Yvonne and O.P. Moore; brother, Mark Williams, of Liberty City; sisters, Brenda Flanagan, of Crystal Beach, Lajuana Hanson, of Glidden, Iowa, Casper Moore, of Livingston; half brother, Travis Wayne Williams, of Tyler; and half sister, Kristian Williams, of Tyler; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Eric Williams; father, Travis Williams; brother, Charles Williams; and sister, Tammy Warren.
