Services for Roland "Mac" McCabe, 81, Flint, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Grace Community Church with Pastor Doug Clark officiating.

Burial will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at 11:15 a.m. under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. McCabe passed away Jan. 15, 2013, at his residence in Flint.

He was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Thomas and Sarah Reed McCabe.

Mac served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, flying reconnaissance in the Vietnam War. He retired after 28 years as lieutenant colonel. After retirement in 1980, Mac moved to Tyler with his wife, Nancy Lee. He was a member of the Tyler Modelers Club for 30 years.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 45 years, Nancy Lee McCabe of Flint; sister, Cecelia Boone of Los Angles, Calif.; four stepchildren; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Community Church or Texas Home Health Hospice.
