Lacy Denise Parker

Lacy Denise Parker was born on June 30, 1978, in Jasper to Kenneth and Reba Mason. She attended school in Newton until her sophomore year. She was a 1996 graduate of Brownsboro High School and attended Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M University.

Survivors are her children, Eth-an and Madelyn Parker of Chandler, and their dad, Rob Parker of Brownsboro; parents, Kenneth and Reba Mason; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Martha Mason; nephew, Brent Mason, all of Chandler; aunts and uncles, Lloyd and Sue Downing and Thomas and Linda Downing, all of Bon Wier, Charles Mason of New Caney, and Bill Mason of Joaquin; grandparents, Beatrice and Tom Moye of Bon Wier; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chester Downing and J.D. and Epsie Mason.

Lacy was a devoted mother, a friend to many and committed to her family. She holds the hearts of many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Bros. Robert Welch, Danny Bristow and Jason Fortenberry officiating.

Graveside services to be on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Inman Cemetery in Bon Wier.

Pallbearers will be Lee Downing, Andrew Downing, Brent Ma-son, Lee Wehrmann, Aaron Eaton and Charlie Fuller.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Brownsboro High School Class of 1996.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Mother Frances Hospital who helped Lacy through this battle, especially Dr. Vukelja of Texas Oncology Clinic and Dr. Beets of Texas Palliative Care.
