John Milutin

Services for John Milutin, 90, Overton, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton, with the Rev. Ken Hayman officiating. Military honors will be conducted following the service in Overton City Cemetery.

Mr. Milutin died Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Kilgore. He was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Yale, Mich., to the late George and Anna Paulsan Milutin. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army where he received the Purple Heart. He married Marion Maxine Rasch, Sept. 25, 1943, in Wyandotte, Mich., and worked in road construction as a supervisor. He had been a resident of Texas for the past 23 years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Milutin was also preceded in death by his wife, Marion Maxine Milutin.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, David John Milutin, Phoenix, Ariz., and Phillip Terry and Patti Milutin, Belleville, Mich.; two daughters, Constance Roberto, Las Vegas, Nev., and Linda Burgess, St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, prior to the service.
