Emmett was born June 7, 1926, in Roscoe. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was also a proud minister of the gospel. He never met a stranger. He loved his family. Those who knew him were affected by his faith.
He lived in Longview for 32 years and in Arlington this last year.
He is and will continue to be greatly missed. His family and friends consider themselves blessed to have been a part of Emmett's life.
