Memorial services for Clarence Britton "Britt" Turner, 87, of Lindale are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Tema officiating.
Mr. Turner died April 16, 2013. He was born on Jan. 16, 1926, in Ada, Okla., to the late Clarence and Nettie Turner. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Marine Corps as a combat medic. He was regional director of sales for UpJohn Pharmaceutical for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Lindale United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Wilna Leone "Lee" Turner; his daughter, Susan E. Lusty; and his brother, John David Turner.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol L. Turner, Lindale; son, Paul B. Turner and wife Kathleen, Lindale; sister, Dell Marie Vick and husband Ray, Roswell, N.M.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.
